A-B Tech Foundation Offers Scholarships

The A-B Tech Foundation is accepting applications through June 1 to award more than 100 scholarships for up to $1,200 each.

Before applying for scholarships, interested applicants should enroll as a student at A-B Tech by visiting: www.abtech.edu/apply or in person at the Admissions Office in the Azalea Building on the Asheville campus. Applicants also need to declare a major and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Visit www.fafsa.edu.gov to complete online or visit the Financial Aid Office in the Azalea Building for assistance. The A-B Tech school code is 004033.

In addition to the
online application, three letters of reference are required. Reference
letters should be in sealed envelopes with the references’ signature on
the back flap and applicant’s name clearly marked on each, and be
mailed or delivered together. Letters may be mailed to Leronica Casey,
A-B Tech Foundation, 340 Victoria Road, Asheville, NC 28801 or
hand-delivered to Casey on the second floor of the Simpson
Administration Building

The scholarship list is updated frequently and should be checked often
for the latest information at
www.abtech.edu/foundation/scholarships.asp. Scholarship recipients are
chosen by scholarship committees composed of faculty representatives
and the Foundation Board of Directors.
