Western North Carolina 4th of July Celebrations & Fireworks

Asheville – Join in the fun in Pack Square Park beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Ingles Independence Day Celebration. Children’s activities, Splashville, and bouncy house from 2-6 p.m. Live music after 6 p.m. Ultimate Air Dog shows at 2, 4, 6 and 7:30 p.m. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Parking is available in nearby parking decks, on the street or in private lots. No outside alcohol, coolers, or pets in the park.

Tourists Baseball Game – Watch the fireworks show after the Asheville Tourists game on Wednesday, July 4.

Arden – Fireworks show begins at dark on Wednesday, July 4 at Lake Julian. Bring your lawn chair. No pets please due to crowds. From Asheville take I-26 East to Exit #37. Turn left at the light onto Long Shoals Road. Address: 406 Overlook Extension, Arden.

Black Mountain – Family fun and fireworks held Wednesday, July 4 at 7 p.m.

Brevard – Celebration begins on Wednesday, July 4 with the 5K/10K Firecracker Run at 8 a.m. Fine Arts & Craft Festival, and Classic Auto Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Bryson City – Freedom Fest, an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration and street festival, is held downtown from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. 5K race, crafts, food, live music, and entertainment.

Hendersonville – Fireworks display on Wednesday, July 4 at dark, with free, live, outdoor music from 7-9 p.m. Downtown at the Visitors Center, 201 South Main in Hendersonville.

Lake Lure – On Tuesday, July 3, watch fireworks at dusk over the lake from Morse Park, 2948 Memorial Hwy., Lake Lure. Bring your picnic and chairs. No alcoholic beverages allowed.

Lake Junaluska – July 4 Parade at 11 a.m., BBQ picnic from 12-2 p.m. Lake Junaluska Singers concert at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Marshall – Rodeo held on July 3 & 4 for two nights. Calf-roping, rodeo bulls, rodeo clowns, and all the other traditional events followed by fireworks. Adults $10; children $5.

Marion – Parade at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Food vendors, street dance, and live music at 7 p.m. Fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

Sylva – Live music and dancing begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4 followed by fireworks at dark in the picturesque small town nestled in the mountains. Stroll Main Street filled with shops, restaurants, and breweries.
