81st Asheville Open Tennis Championships

The 81st Annual City of Asheville Open Tennis Championships continue July 14-22 at the Aston Park Tennis Center in Asheville.

The Adult Tournament takes place July 14-22, highlighted by the Men’s and Women’s Open Singles Finals on July 22. National Tennis Rating Program divisions will be July 14-16, the 35’s-55’s and Mixed will be July 20-22, and the adult and senior divisions (60-90) will begin on July 15 for divisions greater than 16, and July 16 for divisions less than 16.

The City Open is designated as an official 200-Point Tournament of the Southern Tennis Association, assuring Asheville a strong field with high finishers receiving additional points toward their United States Tennis Association rankings.

This year the Men’s and Women’s Open Division players will compete for $10,000 in prize money. In addition to a cash prize, the names of the winners will be engraved on the Silver Challenge Bowls.
