The 100 Men and Women Minority Scholarship was established in 2012 by Samuel Abdul-Allah and is co-chaired by The Urban News publisher Johnnie Grant.

Also involved are the many community members who want to provide educational opportunities for minority students enrolled in any curriculum program at AB Technical Community College. No donation is too small!

The scholarship application process for the 2023-24 academic year will be open January 9 – March 31, 2023. If you would like to designate a 100 Men and Women Minority Scholarship charitable gift to a deserving student, please call Leronica Casey, Coordinator of Scholarships and Donor Relations, at (828) 398-7562, or by mail to A-B Tech Community College, 340 Victoria Road, Asheville, NC, 28801.
