MHU First Year Pre-Orientation
A one-day orientation/welcome event for students beginning classes at Mars Hill University this fall takes place on Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Broyhill Chapel, 265 Cascade St. in Mars Hill, NC.
Students who attend First Year Pre-Orientation (FYPO) learn about academic programs and student life at Mars Hill; meet faculty members, staff members, and fellow students; and get answers to questions about financial aid, housing, and all manner of student activities. Most importantly, students who attend FYPO will receive their academic schedule for the upcoming semester at Mars Hill.
2018 Fall Semester
- August 13 – Adult & Graduate Studies first fall short term begins.
- August 17 – Move-in day; residence halls open for new students; orientation weekend begins.
- August 21 – Classes begin for traditional students.
