2042 ASCORE Leadership Awards
The Center for Diversity Education at UNC Asheville is accepting nominations for the “2042 ASCORE Leadership Awards.”
The award program is named for the year projected by demographers that ethnic and racial minority groups will comprise a majority of the U.S. population and in honor of ASCORE (the Asheville Student Committee on Racial Equality). The awards will recognize the work of five young adults who exemplify the characteristics that made ASCORE and ASCORE members so successful.
Nominees for the ASCORE Leadership Awards should: actively work to promote equality and inclusion in their daily life and work; be between the ages of 21 and 40 on December 31, 2015; live in Buncombe County, and be available to attend the luncheon award ceremony on November 6, 2015.
