Hoke Wins Innovative Program Award

A-B Tech student William Hoke was awarded the Innovative Program Award from the Asheville Parks & Recreation Department for his Developing Future Male Leaders program. He received the award at the 2014 North Carolina Recreation & Parks Association State Conference in Wilmington.

The Innovative Program Award is presented to only one department in the state each year. The Developing Future Male Leaders program was developed and implemented by Hoke. He was inspired to develop the program after returning from a Minority Male Mentoring Conference in Durham with the Minority Student Leadership Academy at A-B Tech. Congratulations to William Hoke on the Innovative Program Award.
