Walnut Cove Members Association Culinary Scholarships (3 @ $1,000)
Requirements: Must be enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program; have a 3.0 GPA or above; financial need is a consideration only if candidates are equally qualified; be a full-time student taking 12 hours or more.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House Scholarship (1 @ $1,000)
Requirements: Must be enrolled in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Education Programs; be a resident of Buncombe or Madison counties; have a 3.0 GPA; be a full-time student (12 hours or more); demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA.
Asheville Latin Americans for Advancement Society Merit Scholarships (1 @ $1,000)
Requirements: Must be a Latino resident of Western North Carolina paying out-of-state tuition at A-B Tech; have a 3.0 GPA; financial need is a consideration only if candidates are equally qualified; be enrolled in any curriculum program.
Pisgah Investments, LLC two-year scholarship (3 @ $3,412)
Requirements: Must be an Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity homeowner or child of a Habitat homeowner; be a full- or part-time student enrolled in any 2-year curriculum program at A-B Tech; maintain a 3.0 GPA; demonstrate a need by completing the FAFSA.
Minority Entrepreneurship Student Scholarship (1 @ $1,250)
Requirements: Must be enrolled in the Entrepreneurship program; demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA; be a full- or part-time student, taking 6 hours or more; have a GPA of 2.0.
Progress Energy Endowed Scholarship (1 @ $1,000)
Requirements: Must be pursuing an Associate’s degree in math, science, or engineering; maintain a GPA of 2.0 or greater; be a full-time student (12 hours or more); financial need is a consideration only if candidates are equally qualified; be a resident of Buncombe County for at least a year.
Geospatial Technology Certificate Scholarship (2 @ $500)
Requirements: Must be enrolled in Geospatial Technology Certificate Program; have a 3.0 GPA; financial need is a consideration only if candidates are equally qualified; be a full- or part-time student taking 6 hours or more.
