A-B Tech Appoints New Financial Aid Director

Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College has appointed Brian Clemmons as its new Financial Aid Director effective October 15.

Most recently, Clemmons has been Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Vance-Granville Community College, where he has also served as acting director for nearly two years while the director has been on extended medical leave.  He also served as a co-advisor for the college’s Minority Male Mentoring Program.

Mr. Clemmons earned a BS in Public Policy with a minor in Marketing and Management from Duke University and a Masters in Public Administration from NC Central University. While at Vance-Granville, he received the 2011 President’s Leadership Award and the 2012 Staff Member of the Year Award.
