Annual MLK Day of Service
Join the Burton Street Community Peace Gardens and Hood Huggers International for their Annual MLK Day of Service!
Meet in the gardens on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12 noon, then head out to various projects throughout the Burton Street Neighborhood. The groups will focus on getting a couple of the community gardens ready for the spring planting season.
Help put in raised beds at Martha Jane’s Garden and install a retaining wall at The Vine. There will also be a team of folks on community clean-up duty, picking up trash throughout the neighborhood.
Due to COVID-19, all attendees must wear masks and maintain social distancing while together. The peace garden is located at 47 Bryant Street in West Asheville, 28806.
