Free BBQ for Obama

While leaving my son’s little league game Saturday, coming down the hill from Lincoln Park I heard someone shout, “Free BBQ for Obama!”

To my pleasant surprise I saw many people in fellowship around the town square in Burnsville, NC. As I stopped to show my support for the cause, I had the opportunity to realize how important change is for our country during these times.

Many people at the
rally expressed their sincere hope that Obama will be the man to make
these changes. Most importantly, I saw children learning about the
voting process and the importance of looking past race and gender and
looking for the quality of character. In the small hard working town of
Burnsville, NC, this is what I saw.
