Black Girl Magic Summit

Two-day summit encourages women to take ownership of their careers and financial futures.
This two-day event focuses on career and business resources for women by providing opportunities for career advancement, financial resources, and business growth through powerful stories of women who are making tremendous impact.
On August 21 & 22, 2021 the Black Girl Magic Summit will virtually connect you with thousands of women around the world! The focus of the summit is to connect, engage, and inform women around key topics like financial wellness, entrepreneurship, and money management. The featured speakers will get real about the impacts of what’s happening in our communities and how we can persevere in times of uncertainty.
If you are launching a business, need help developing strategies or taking your existing business or career ambitions to the next level, you will benefit from insights shared by the best in the industry.
Keynote speakers for the summit include author, businesswoman, and former White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, and actor, model, and activist Yara Shahidi. Additional speakers including Naturi Naughton, Ivy McGregor, and Candace Parker will also be featured throughout the summit’s programming.

Black Girl Magic Summit Pitch Competition
If you currently own and operate a business, Capital One is providing capital to the Black Girl Magic Summit Pitch Competition. $25,000, $15,000, and $10,000 grants will be awarded to three women-owned small businesses. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 13, 2021.
Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator is providing $50,000 in grants to female HBCU students through the pitch competition.
