African American Business Association Workshop + Meetup

An opportunity to learn, share, and network.

Join the Western Women’s Business Center, a program of Carolina Small Business Development, in starting, growing, and expanding your business via technical assistance and business loan opportunities for African American businesses in Western North Carolina. There will be a lively discussion with the founders of this group, Rosanna Mulcahy, and Joe Greene.

Rosanna Mulcahy serves as the WWBC’s Associate Director. She provides technical assistance and develops strategic plans for loans by providing outreach to banks and community decision makers. Rosanna holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration and is currently working on obtaining a Ph.D. in Human Services.

Joe Greene serves as the WWBC’s consultant. Joe grew up in Asheville and attended Asheville High School. He has worked hard to become a vocal champion for the local African American community. He is an entrepreneur and has been involved in numerous community outreach programs in the city.

The workshop takes place Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Arthur R. Edington Education & Career Center, 133 Livingston Street in Asheville.
