Blue Ridge Community College will host its 16th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Breakfast on Monday, January 18, 2016.

The honorary breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the program to follow at 9:30 a.m.

This year’s program, “Pursuit of Happiness through Jobs and Freedom,” will feature guest speaker Erik Dowdy, an Associate Broker at the Residences at W-Atlanta Downtown, where he is ranked among the nation’s top realtors.

In 2013, Erik was awarded sixth place in the “Atlanta Top 10” agents citywide and was named a lifetime multimillion-dollar club member by the Atlanta Board of Realtors. Through his hard work and expertise, Erik has contributed greatly to the development of the Atlanta area.

Tickets are required and can be purchased online or in person at Blue Ridge Community College Cashier Office. Ticket prices are $12 for adults ($5 tax deductible) and $5 for children ages 5-12 years old.

All events are open to the public and will be held at the Blue Ridge Conference Hall at Blue Ridge Community College in Henderson County.
