Maximizing Interview and Professional Skills

Job interviews call for you to present your very best self. An “over-the-top” cover letter and a well-designed résumé might land an interview; but it takes “you” to get the job.

This month A-B Tech is offering a class designed to help applicants curb nervousness, feel more confident, and shine in interviews. For three nights, July 17, 18, and 19 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., students will learn how to interview from start to finish.

The class will also help those currently employed keep their interview and professional skills polished.

Class will include:
•     How to compose an excellent
cover letter
•     How to dress professionally
•     How to answer tough interview
questions
•     How to use the inverted pyramid theory
•     How to deal with conflict
•     Telephone and e-mail etiquette tips
•     Conversation about the power of a smile and thank-you
