Ardent Toastmaster Wallace Bohannan Wins Humor Contest

Four Seasons Toastmasters Club played host to the annual Humorous Speech Contest held at the Lake Pointe Landing Center in Hendersonville on October 4, 2008.

Contestants who represented the four area clubs were Dave Modaff and Dr. Stan Dienst from Four Seasons Toastmasters, Harry Paly from Land of Sky Toastmasters, Ed Richardson from Foothills Forum Toastmasters, and Wallace Bohanan from the Ardent Toastmasters Club in Asheville.

Mr. Wallace Bohanan’s speech entitled “I’ll Never Do That Again” had
the audience laughing, grinning, and chuckling for a full five minutes,
thus winning first place for the most humorous speech in Area 13. The
contest also included a Speech Evaluator competition, won by Karen
Strange of Four Seasons Toastmasters.
