Back Talk: On Religion in Schools

I am a Senior Citizen 79 years of age however, I was educated in the public schools systems in the State of Connecticut.

We had no problems with respect to the cultural differences of religion among the students. Every Wednesday afternoon those who wished to do so were dismissed to go to “religious schools,” of their own faith.

Among
those religion were: Protestants, Catholic, and Jews, all within the
same neighborhood. The schools did not have to be involved.

Just something to think about.
