Asheville’s Eagle-Market Street Development Corporation (EMSDC) will host a screening and community celebration of The Rotating Chef, a new series that highlights the culture and community impact of chefs across the Carolinas.

In the series, creator Caleb Owolabi invites a special guest chef each season to share a glimpse into their personal lives and the influence it has brought to their cooking. Season 1 features Shaniqua Simuel, a dedicated community advocate involved with a local garden initiative in the Shiloh neighborhood of Asheville, NC. Her commitment to cultivating a harmonious, self-sustaining community is evident as she sources ingredients directly from the garden to prepare healthy dishes.
