Local Artist Virtuous Announces New Album Release

Inaugural Christian Block Party will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at The Haven Club on The Block.

Virtuous, a rising talent in the Asheville music scene, announced on November 15 the coming release of her highly anticipated new Afropop album, The Good Things. The singer will host the first Christian block party for The Haven, marking a unique and uplifting experience for the community.

The event is open to anyone 18 and older and aims to bring together Christians and community members looking for a fun and joyful evening of fellowship, music, and worship. Guests will enjoy an engaging atmosphere with live performances, dancing, singing, and the chance to connect with others in a positive, welcoming space. The evening will feature a concert by Virtuous and a lineup of music from the DJ designed to create a powerful shared experience for attendees. Everyone is welcome, whether or not they identify as Christians.

Food, catered by From Clean To Cuisine, will be available for purchase throughout the night.
