Shot on location in Asheville almost 60 years ago, Thunder Road stars Robert Mithchum as a Korean War hero who returns to his Appalachian hometown to take over his family’s bootleg moonshine business and subsequently has to deal with both the mob and the feds.
The Fine Arts Theatre will screen Thunder Road on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, in honor of the May 1958 release of the movie. Tickets are $8.
