Asheville’s favorite performer, Kat Williams, will join Eddie Watkins, Jr. at the Fall Music Fest & Chili Feast hosted by Unity of the Blue Ridge.

The “feastival,” held at 2041 Old Fanning Bridge Road in Mills River takes place Friday, November 11, beginning at 6 p.m.

Eddie Watkins Jr., with his musical roots in Motown, has performed and recorded with popular artists such as Barbara Streisand, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Santana, Cher, Diana Ross, Pattie Labelle, The Pointer Sisters, Peter Frampton, and The Temptations. He is known for both his spellbinding voice and powerful delivery, whether following a funky Motown beat or in a quiet, meditative song.

Emmy-nominated Kat Williams satisfies a yearning for emotive truth and honesty that is rarely found in contemporary music.
