A Unified Presence is a compassionate exploration of the cross-continental partnership between Four Seasons Compassion for Life and the Palliative Care Association of Zambia.

Through their collaborative vision, these two organizations aim to educate, support, and provide resources to health care workers in Zambia in the efforts to integrate palliative care — a specialized form of treatment for patients who are seriously ill or who suffer with life-limiting illness.

Told through the heart-felt voices of doctors and caregivers, this short documentary is an uplifting reminder of the power of presence. A special screening of A Unified Presence takes place October 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Asheville Community Theatre, 35 E. Walnut St., Asheville.
