Bele Chere After Party Featuring Space Capone and The Broadcast

| The Broadcast |
by Chris Cloonan
Even though Saturday’s Bele Chere lineup ends at 10, the music doesn’t stop there. Starting at 10 p.m. at The Wild Wing Cafe, the Bele Chere After Party begins with two rockin’ bands.
Kicking off the party is Asheville’s own The Broadcast. This six-piece, soul-rock band draws influences from the funky, soulful Motown sound of Stevie Wonder and the raw vocal prowess of such singers as Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin. Their sweeping melodies, polyrhythmic grooves, and commanding vocals are just a fraction of their high-octane performances.

| Space Capone |
Nashville artists Space Capone round out the evening’s festivities
with their energetic and highly danceable 70’s style grooves. Showcasing
retro-grooves and an intoxicating stage presence, Space Capone will
keep the party going all night long.
The Broadcast with Space Capone, Saturday, July 30 at Wild Wing
Cafe, 161 Biltmore Avenue in Asheville. Show starts at 11 p.m. Admission
is $5 for this 21+ show. Phone (828) 253-3066 for more details.
