‘The Glory Road’

U.N.I.T.Y. Productions will present a gospel musical, “The Glory Road,” at the the Lipinsky Auditorium on the UNCA campus, Saturday, February 7 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The play is a spiritually uplifting, entertaining, and educational gospel musical that provides a soul-stirring depiction of judgement day.
After God calls for Gabriel to blow his silver trumpet to wake the living nations and the nations underground, He is going to sit in the middle of the air to judge the quick and the dead. With the help of the “Celestial Angels,” pilgrims will approach heaven’s door seeking entrance into eternal reward. Those that have washed their robes in the blood of the lamb will enter into the kingdom and join the heavenly choir. But those who are not able to withstand the evil snares of Satan will be cast into the bottomless fiery pit of hell. The play asks the question, “Where will you stand on that Great Day?”

Suber Jr., Ms. Jacquelyn Hallum, Ms. Kendra Perry, Mr. Anthony Turner,
Mr. Rod Sanders, Ms. Diane Mitchell, Ms. Cynthia McNeil and Elder
Carluse Baird returning in his role as Satan. This production will
bring the Christian community together in celebration and praise
through popular and original gospel songs, spirituals and 70 anointed
voices and liturgical dancers “The Glory Road” will make you laugh and
cry, sing and shout, and ultimately change lives in the process.

UNITY Productions has presented professionally produced stage
plays to audiences of thousands throughout the southeast. Now is the
time for Asheville to showcase the wealth of talent in this area.
