A-B Tech Community College has launched a Campus Volunteer and Intern program to enhance student success by placing volunteers in such areas as Student Services, Academic Success, and the Writing Center.

“Volunteers are invaluable for their commitment to an organization’s objectives. Their qualities of dedication, knowledge, warmth and tenacity are highly regarded by those fortunate enough to be on the receiving end,” said Jeralie Andrews, Coordinator of Campus Volunteers and Interns at A-B Tech.

Volunteers can choose from several options, including one-on-one student tutorials in math, reading, writing, and science; performing filing and data entry; grading tests; or being college ambassadors.

Orientations are provided to all volunteers following an interview with Human Resources. Training, ID cards, and parking stickers are provided.
