No one should face hunger because of fear.
What can we do to protect and uplift our immigrant families?
The truth is simple—we take care of each other. We show up. We stand together. We love without hesitation. And if our community ever faces a situation like what happened in Charlotte, NC, we won’t wait until the fear settles in. We prepare now.
We are organizing food collections so that, if needed, we can bring nourishment straight to the doors of families who may be afraid to step outside.
No one should face hunger because of fear. No one should feel alone when community is right here.
We are preparing, we are mobilizing, and we are making sure our people are safe.
Items we are accepting:
- Eggs
- Masa
- Tortillas
- Cooking Oil
- Kids Snacks
- Rice (1 lb bags)
- Beans (1 lb bags)
- Canned Meats/Meals
- Diapers (sizes 4 & up)
- Toilet Paper
