If you’re 16 to 24 and left high school without a diploma, this is your chance to get back on track, and earn financial incentives while you do it.
Skilled trades are in high demand across the US. Many programs take six months to two years to complete, and offer great starting wages.
YouthBuild CORE-2 is now enrolling participants. Each cohort will accept only 22 applicants. The start date for the first cohort is fall 2025 and is estimated to take seven months to complete.
YouthBuild CORE-2 offers free GED prep and the opportunity to earn an industry-recognized construction certification that opens doors to real careers. You’ll gain hands-on skills, receive one-on-one support, and participate in leadership development. Let’s build something great together—starting with your future.
If you are a teenager or young adult, age 16-24, who left high school without a diploma, live in Buncombe County, and have barriers to education and employment this program is for you.
