YMCA WNC LOGOThe Y is hiring a full-time digital marketing specialist to help increase our community impact through social, web, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and more. Every day will bring new opportunities to use your skills to serve the greater good. Based in Asheville, this position offers excellent benefits and is eligible for hybrid work.

Pay range: $17-$26 per hour based on experience.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, public relations, or related field, and/or a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • An analytical, data-driven thinker with the desire to innovate.
  • Proficient in website management, content management systems (CMS), and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Experience with social media content creation and scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social.
  • Experience with email marketing and automation platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, and Hubspot.
  • Proficient with search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics platforms and tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google My Business.
  • Experienced with digital advertising, including Facebook Ads and Facebook Business Suite (formerly Facebook Business Manager), Manager, Instagram, and Google Ads.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines.
