RSVP, your volunteer center for the second half of life, invites boomers and retirees to their monthly information session on Friday, April 29 from 9:30  a.m. to 11 a.m. at the NC Center for Creative Retirement on the campus of UNCA. These sessions are appropriate for those ages 55 and better who want to volunteer in their community but do not know where to start

This April we welcome guest speaker Rebecca Chaplin with the Buncombe County Special Needs Registry, a vital service of Buncombe County EMS that identifies citizens with chronic health conditions who need special assistance during a medical emergency or disaster.
