2016 Spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Award Program
On Wednesday, January 20, 2016 Mission Health and MAHEC are partnering to present two deserving employees with the 2016 Spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. Award.
Dr. Robert W. Livingston will be featured as this year’s keynote speaker. Dr. Livingston is a Lecturer on Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
He is regarded as one of the world’s leading scholars on diversity in leadership, and his research has been published in top-tier academic journals and has been featured in prominent media outlets including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Newsweek, Forbes, and MSNBC.
He has also published several book chapters and an award-winning book on social identity and intergroup relations.
This event will be held on A-B Tech’s main campus at the Event Center. The keynote address and program will take place from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m.
