B4U Boutique Celebrates First Anniversary

B4U & New Resale Boutique is a unique and charming store filled with women’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, accessories, handbags, and collectibles. The Biltmore Village shop resells modern and upscale merchandise, some new and some scarcely worn, at affordable prices.

“Opening a clothing boutique was just a fleeting thought!” mused co-owners Lyndia Roland Childes and Sallie Peace Graves as they recounted the beginnings of B4U clothing boutique in October of 2009. Now one year later, they are just as excited, and the shop is well stocked with classy, unique, and fashionable items for women.

These two “fashionistas” have always had a kindred spirit when it came to fashion and couture for women. “We just love to shop,” said Lyndia, with Sallie seconding in agreement.

Both ladies are retired from the Asheville City School System, and often
found themselves pairing up to go on marathon shopping sprees. In any
given month they would take weekend jaunts, including buying and
shopping trips from New York to Florida and even locations in the
Midwest. It was during one of these shopping trips that the pair decided
to share their passion for couture with others.

“We do the shopping with you in mind. If you don’t see it in our shop,
we will attempt to find that special item for you. Planning these
shopping trips enables us to visit other locations, and find
one-of-a-kind items,” said Lyndia.

“But,” exclaimed Sallie, “we also shopped for the best deals we could
find, which made the trips much more exciting. In doing so, we are able
to pass on the savings to our customers,” concluded Sallie.

With such charm and uniqueness, B4U offers special items from couturiers
and designers including Liz Claiborne, Karen Kane, Vera Wang Cachet,
Rafaella, Jones of New York, and Michael Kros, to name a few; their
“gently-used” items are just waiting for local shoppers with taste. Have
a handbag or shoe fetish? There’s also: Kate Spade, Coach, Fendi,
Gucci, Jimmy Choo, and other gently used and new accessories waiting,
too. Much of the inventory includes new items that have never been worn.

B4U & New Resale Boutique is located near historic Biltmore Village
at 63 Brook St., Suite #8, just south of downtown Asheville.
