As community spread of COVID-19 continues in North Carolina, clusters of cases are being identified in workplaces, educational settings, and many other community locations.
NCDHHS has added a new report on the NC COVID-19 Dashboard on clusters of COVID-19 cases resulting from social events and gatherings.

Reports are available on outbreaks in congregate living settings, child care programs, and K-12 schools.
- COVID-19 Clusters in North Carolina will be updated every Monday by 4 p.m.
- COVID-19 Outbreaks in Congregate Living Settings will be updated every Tuesday and Friday by 4 p.m.
- COVID-19 Clusters in Child Care and School Settings will be updated every Tuesday and Friday by 4 p.m.
Identifying and responding to COVID-19 clusters helps local health departments and the state implement prevention and control measures, identify risk factors, and understand settings where transmission of COVID-19 is most likely to occur.
