Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church

Sunday, May 14 – Mother’s Day Event held during the 11 a.m. service.
Friday, May 19 – The Mud Creek Association “Youth Forum,” will be held from 5-9 p.m. at the church.
Saturday, May 20 – “Youth Songfest” from 4-8 p.m.

Baptist Minister’s Union

Sunday, May 21 – City-wide Revival in the Park begins at 6 p.m. with a “Parade of Churches” marching to the City-County Plaza’s Amphitheater in downtown Asheville. Guest revivalist Dr. Alyn E. Waller of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Philadelphia, PA, will kick-off the service.
May 21-26 – Nightly services at Nazareth First Baptist Church at 7 p.m.

St. James Pastoral Appreciation Service

Friday, May 26 at 6 p.m.
St. James cordially invites you to the Pastoral Appreciation Service for Reverend Brent La Prince Edwards, celebrating seven years as pastor of St. James and 21 years of ministry. The guest speaker will be Rev. Damita Wilder, Pastor of Varick Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. The choir from Varick will minister in music. The Worship Leader is Apostle Rachel Floyd of Times of Refreshing Ministries of Asheville. Dinner will be served after the service. St. James A.M.E Church, 44 Hildebrand St., Asheville. The Time of the Woman

Saturday, May 27
Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Hendersonville, NC will host its annual women’s conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme is “The Time of the Woman,” with speakers Rev. Robert A. Waters and Co-Pastor Esser Sitton of the LOG Full Gospel Church. The event will include a full-course luncheon and a fashion show. Registration fee is $25.
