Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church recently gathered at the Shiloh Community Garden/pavilion Amphitheater for the annual church picnic and Sunday Services.

The children and adults were enjoying the blue sky and fresh air, and being outside where they could see all that God created. The Sunday school lesson was enjoyed by all. Soon the music was playing and it was time for the worship service to start. The congregation began to sing and enjoyed a beautiful sermon by Rev. Spencer Hardaway. In the background you could smell the aroma of food in the air, and after the worship service everyone enjoyed a delicious meal.

“We all enjoyed the good food, good fun, and good fellowship. After the meal everyone helped to make sure everything was cleaned, just like families do. It is wonderful to be in a church family like that,” said Alma Atkins, a church and community member.
