Stand Against Racism with Building Bridges

The Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville will join Building Bridges as a host of “Building Bridges: How has the paradigm of racism changed from 1993 to 2017.”

Since 1993, Building Bridges of Asheville has worked to dismantle racism by fostering relationships that respect diversity, seek understanding and encourage action. All are welcome to join this Stand Against Racism event on Thursday, April 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rainbow Community School in West Asheville.

There will be a panel discussion that includes members of Building Bridges past and present, discussing how the paradigm of racism has changed since the inception of Building Bridges in 1993. The panel will include: Tyrone Greenlee, Sue Walton, Lewis Isaac, Kathryn Liss, Danae Aicher, and Susan Bean, with the discussion moderated by Gerry Leonard.
