The Power of Words

Listen in as a president, a poet, a picket, and a member of the press speak for themselves. All Buncombe Chautauqua shows will be held at 7 p.m. at A-B Technical College in Ferguson Auditorium, 340 Victoria Rd. in Asheville.

Monday, June 19 – Maya Angelou portrayed by Becky Stone. Music by Zoe & Cloyd.

Tuesday, June 20 – Abraham Lincoln portrayed by George Frein. Music by: Don Pedi.

Wednesday, June 21 – Cesar Chavez portrayed by Fred Blanco. Music by Cary Fridley.

Thursday, June 22 – Walter Cronkite portrayed by Larry Bounds. Music by: The Magills.

Tickets are $5 per show, or $15 for all four shows, and will be available at the door. Box Office opens at 6 p.m. each show night.
