A-B Tech Offers Basic Construction and Millwork Certificate

A-B Tech Community College has a Basic Construction and Millwork Certificate that can be completed in 16 weeks and is eligible to be funded by financial aid.

“Whether you want to build your own home or the skills to maintain your existing home, this is the perfect certificate program for the DIY minded or someone looking to get into the field of construction with hands-on classes taught at the college,” said Heath Moody, Construction Management and Sustainability Technologies Chair.

The certificate is made up of four classes, which provide practical skills that can be taken anywhere. Students will have access to the shop and equipment resources at the college.
