Western Women’s Business Center Begins 12-Month Program

The Western Women’s Business Center has opened registration for the second session of its 12-month “Best Year Yet®” program for budding entrepreneurs.

Designed to help people develop a plan to align their purpose and passion with essential success factors, the Best Year Yet program was created by Jinny Ditzler and is used by major corporations worldwide including banks, government agencies, small businesses and non-profits.

Western Women’s Business Center (WWBC), a program of the Carolina Small Business Development Fund, North Carolina’s statewide nonprofit and small business lender, serves a catalyst to the success of entrepreneurs by providing high-quality technical assistance, capital, and other services.

BYY is divided into two phases: a day-long workshop on February 9, 2017, followed by a 12-month coaching program. The workshop facilitators, Annice Brown and Jen Aly, are experienced coaches who will guide the participants through an interactive program meant to help create the top ten goals for 2017. Each participant will be empowered to create a personal strategic action plan by examining challenges and achievements leading them to create a new focus or paradigm.

The paradigm helps participants learn to constantly assess his or her strengths and weaknesses to identify what knowledge, skills, and attitudes are needed to accomplish their goals. All participants emerge with a personalized plan that includes both business and personal goals which will serve as the basis for the individualized and group coaching over the following 12 months.
